From structural timbers like Design Pine and LVL to sustainably sourced hardwoods such as Jarrah and Merbau, we stock everything you need for framing, decking, cladding, and more. Our product offering also includes leading composite decking brands like Eva-Last, NewTechWood, and Millboard, alongside an extensive selection of their composite cladding and lining solutions.
Our products include durable structural timbers for framing, Australian timbers for doors, windows, decking, and cladding, a variety of MDF products such as skirting boards, frames, timber mouldings, architraves, and cladding, as well as decking, joinery, doors, hardware, fibre cement, and insulation.
Our in-house workshop facilities allow us to offer tailored, custom machining and joinery services from door jambs and window frames to one-off bespoke doors, mouldings, and trims. We also support detailed interior finishes with decorative linings like Easycraft Silhouette and Surround by Laminex, with a full range of skirting, mouldings, and architraves from Ezitrim and Silktrim.

Built from the ground up, shaped by people.
What began in a 20 foot sea container in Malaga back in 1998 has grown into more than 3300 square meters of warehouse and workshop space in Bibra Lake. From humble beginnings to a recognised name in the building industry, our story has always been about people, relationships, and showing up for the trade.
We support the Australian construction industry by choosing locally and Australian made products wherever possible. It is our way of keeping value in the hands of local makers and ensuring our customers receive materials they can rely on.
With our own delivery fleet and a full-service timber workshop on site, we offer both dependability and a level of customisation that is increasingly rare. Our machinists and joiners have built a facility we are proud of, and if you are nearby, we are always happy to show you through.

In the five years I’ve been coming to Franz Building Supplies, their service has been outstanding.
Whenever I’ve needed materials for a job, I just call and place my order, and I can pick it up the same day or have it delivered to site, unless it’s not in stock.
The yard staff help load the materials so you’re on the road quickly. As a tradesman, time is precious, so this helps immensely.
On a few occasions, I’ve needed mouldings for jobs that are no longer available. Franz have their own factory workshop and have been able to specially run the mouldings I’ve needed, and have even had cutters specially made to produce what was required to get the job done.
The staff are friendly, have great knowledge of the building industry, and are always happy to help.
